How can I get the Amicast client on my phone?

Is my phone supported?
At present we are only offering a free beta version of the Amicast client. We don't guarantee its functionality, nor that it works smoothly on any type of phone. If you have a Nokia or SonyEricsson or Samsung or Motorola it will most likely work. If you have a Blackberry, iPhone, or any touchscreen phone, most likely it will not work fine. If you have any other kind of phone it may work. You are welcome to try it out, and let us know how it goes! - Contact us
Why do I need to provide my mobile telephone number to sign up?
Amicast is one of the several services that Amivox provides (visit www.amivox.com for further information). All Amivox services have a mobile telephony component and therefore the telephone numbers of our users are an integral part of the service’s registration and provisioning
Why do I need to provide my email address?
This is where we will send responses to any queries you send to us. If someone comments on one of your entries, you will receive a notification in your email address. We will also send to your email address a message in case there is an important notification such as reports of abuse or change of terms

Who can view my Amicast entries?
Every one who visits your profile on www.amicast.com. And, if you have activated the forwarding to Facebook, all of your Facebook friends can view your Amicast entries within Facebook
Can I limit the people who can access my Amicast entries?
No. All active Amicast entries are visible to anyone on the web. You can always delete any entry that you don’t want to display
Can my Amicast entries get sent automatically to Facebook?
Yes
How do I get my Amicast entries automatically sent to my Facebook Profile?
Login on www.amicast.com, click on “Settings” and click on the blue box “Connect with Facebook”
Can I choose, prior to sending each entry, whether it shall be forwarded to Facebook?
No. Once you have activated for your Amicast entries to be sent to Facebook, they all will be automatically sent to Facebook until you deactivate it
How can I stop getting all my Amicast entries forwarded to Facebook?
Login on www.amicast.com, click on “Settings”, un-check the box in front “Publish To Facebook?” and “Save”
Is there a limit on the number of entries that I can make?
No
How long will Amicast store my entries on www.amicast.com?
At present we are offering the service for free and we will store as many entries as you make. If in the future we need to change this model, you will be contacted via email before we make any change to your Amicast content. Please make sure that your email is kept updated
How can I delete any of my existing entries?
Login on www.amicast.com, go to your entry in question and press on “Delete this Amicast” (on the upper right)
How can I edit the title of any of my existing entries?
Login on www.amicast.com, go to your entry in question and press on “Edit title” (on the upper left)
How can I change the picture of any of my existing entries?
Login on www.amicast.com, go to your entry in question and press on “Change picture”
Can I change the audio recording of an existing entry?
No.
